Peter Frisch

Director, The Producing Unit, The Frisch Studio
 
M.F.A. Stage Direction, Carnegie Mellon, B.A. Western Reserve University  Peter was recently the Executive Director of the Granada and the $60 million Granada Restoration Project.  Currently he teaches acting at The Frisch Studio in LA and Santa Barbara and is Director of The Producing Unit.  Peter has directed 160 productions in the New York and regional theatre and produced 150 hours of network television.   He has been Head of Drama at the famed Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and taught at The Juilliard School, Harvard and Boston Universities.  He has won a Joseph Jefferson Award, a Helen Hayes Award, The NY Outer Critic’s Circle Award, and the inaugural American Express-Kennedy Center grant.  His short Deadication won the “Best of the Fest” at the Seattle Film Festival.

James Kahn

James Kahn, a physician, musician and film-maker, has lived in Santa Barbara for 20 years. He began his literary life as a novelist, primarily publishing science fiction and medical thrillers. In addition he's written a number of novelizations - Return of the Jedi, Poltergeist, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Goonies - and pursued a 25 year career as a television writer-producer on shows as diverse as Melrose Place and Star Trek: Voyager. He has written and directed short films, released a CD of original folk music, given lectures at the UCSB Film School Word Farm conference, and continues to practice medicine part-time.

Ivy Vahanian

Graduated Carnegie Mellon University BFA in Drama. 
Studied at Northwestern, the Chautauqua Institute, British American Drama Academy, 15 years equity actress on Broadway and Off-Broadway.  Ivy also worked in LA in Spy Games: Illegal (2004) and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001). 

Bill Egan
